Employment Opportunities

In order to be considered for one of the current openings, interested applicants must submit an Employment Application. Applications may be picked up at 2300 East Street Texarkana, AR 71854.   Applications are available at the Sheriff’s Office.  Resumes and/or cover letters may be attached to the application, but they will not be considered if they are sent without an employment application.

Applicants must be able to work shift work, weekends, and holidays.

All applicants must successfully pass the following in order to be hired:

• Computerized Criminal History
• Background Investigation
• Physical Examination
• Psychological Evaluation
• Drug Screening
